Find out how the A-velvet fixed frame screen will squeeze out every bit of your projector's performance.

Learn here how you can seperate a top projection screen from just any screen.

Beamax A-velvet frame projection screenIf you dedicate your wall to a projection screen, then make sure your screen reflects every little detail your projector beams out. Make sure it's not just some pieced-together frame with poorly fitted corners and a sagging piece of cloth. Make sure it's a screen worthy of a dedicated room, perfectly set up to deal with whatever you'll throw on to it. Be it Full-HD blockbusters, High def gaming or your favourite concert on DVD.

This is what you need from a fixed frame projection screen to see all your movies, games and concerts in full glory:

  • Perfectly cut corners with flexible fixation brackets, allowing you to have a perfectly angled corner, without visbile seams.
  • A wide frame covered in rich black velvet, which absorbs the overscan light from your projector. Creating a perfect surrounding black frame that gives more punch to the projected images.
  • A slanted frame design allows you to perfectly align your projected image to the size of the screen.
  • A wide profile that allows tension to be put on the material, while at the same time keeping a perfectly straight form. Lesser screens would sag in the middle, creating V-shapes in the fabric or a frame that's not rectangular.
  • 4-side tensioning, giving you a totally wrinkle-free surface free from any unwanted distortion.
  • A projection screen fabric with a professional black backing to ensure that no light leaks through the screen to dilute or spoil the movie image
  • A smooth matt white projection screen fabric that has no rough surface. Allowing undistorted high definition projection.
These are the requirements for a top-end fixed frame screen. And absolute necessities if you are serious about getting the best from your home cinema. The A-velvet meets all these requirements and more. Beyond what we call the basics (others might struggle to get to this level), the A-velvet gives you:

Never worry about your screen turning up damaged, as our packaging that has 3 internal compartiments. Protecting the individual frame pieces as well as the rolled-up projection screen fabric. Keeping it safe and wrinkle-free.

Wall brackets that allow you to install the screen safely and easily. The clever construction keeps brackets out of sight, while they hold the frame close to the wall.

A cleverly thought-out construction that allows you to set up the screen perfectly within 15 - minutes even if you've never done it yourself. Click here to see the video.

Little red arrows on the back of the frame that indicate the exact position fixation points for the fabric. This guarantees an even distribution of the fabric tension, preventing the build-up of wrinkles in the projection area.

No need to buy your fabric twice! Protective covers for the tension-distribution rods that make sure your fabric is safe during set-up, even when you make a first-timer's mistake that would otherwise rip your fabric to shreds.

The Beamax A-Velvet guarantee

With such specs comes a guarantee to match: If you are unhappy with any aspect of your projection screen, we will supply you a completely new screen. And, you can use the old one until the new one arrives.

So unlike some other companies that require you to send the screen back for repairs - keeping you waiting without any way of enjoying your home theatre until they get it done - We send a new one out and take the old one back. AND, the new one goes through an extra round of meticulous inspection to make sure it's 100% right.

Because we sell through resellers world-wide, the exact time to send a new screen can vary. We will do our best to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.

"Very happy with the screen. Looks and feels fantastic. The only thing I would say is that I did not get a Beamax badge for it. Many thanks"

J. Cully - N-Ireland

"I'm glad that I made such a worthwile purchase. In combination with my Infocus projector the result is simply Stunning."

AI - Kent, UK

"The screen was easy to put together and hang on the wall. The images from the projector are a joy to watch. Totally recommended."

S. Wallace - UK

“The service from Beamax has been impeccable throughout, the screen arrived on time, and what impressed me most was the thought and quality of the packaging used. The screen was simple to construct, with all the parts fitting together faultlessly and I thought the ‘tensioning’ method for the screen using the steel rod system is just perfect. Because of these experiences I would have no hesitation in recommending Beamax screens”

Mr T. Oxtoby - UK
