When buying a projection screen on-line, keep the following in mind:

. Do the prices include VAT and shipping for example? Shipping for example can be costly, as many forwarders actually use the volume to base their rates on, rather than the weight of the package. Transportation can easily add 15 to 25 euro the the cost of your purchase.
What is the return procedure and are there cost involved when returning the projection screen?
Paying for a screen to be sent back to the retailer can be very expensive. In addition to this, forwarders are not always carefull with the screens and due to the length of the average projection screen, they are prone to transportation damage. If the reseller or manufacturer takes care of this, you don't run the risk of facing an invoice for transportation damages or worse, a screen with scratches or dents.
What's the reseller's reputation with customers?
Use forums to see what customers have experienced when buying from the company. Every reseller can have something go wrong, but in general, the comments should be positive.

Check with the manufacturer or distributor to see if the company is an authorised and trusted reseller. In the worst case, if a company is not paying the manufacturer or distributor, it will be next to impossible to get replacements or repairs, even if you have a genuine complaint.

Getting the right level of support when installing the projection screen, or setting it up with your projector can be the difference between a frustrating experience of a problem quickly solved. Make sure you can reach your reseller, or asa a minimum that the support documentation needed can be found on-line.
