Beamax remote controls for electrical projection screens
Invisible remote controls
An RF signal will travel through wood and even stone. So, no more need to have a visible receiver. Hide it perfectly above a false ceiling, behind a beam or behind the projection screen's casing. No need for any obtrusive boxes.
No hands needed...
Why not use the 12V output from your projector to automate your screen. Let your projector do the work and use the 12V trigger to automatically lower and raise your projection screen. Just turn on the projector and the screen will automatically lower. Switch the projector off and the screen will retract in to it's housing. If your projector does not have a 12V out, use the power sensing trigger, which will give you the same effect via a wireless, IR signal.
Get rid of your remote control pile
IR remotes are ideal if you want to use a learning or mutlifunctional remote control. Learn the codes from the Beamax remote and control your electrical screen. Now, you only need one remote for your whole home cinema. With some remotes, you can even create macros, which automate your whole home theatre. All you need to do is sit down, relax and press one button. Now, watch as every element is set into motion and the movie magic begins.
